My story
or how Kärdti became a FysioDoula
I am a woman, an exercise enthusiast, a fanatic for promoting physical and mental health, a winter swimmer, a bookworm and constantly on the hunt for new experiences. I like to lift weights in the gym, but I also like to relax in gentle stretches on the yoga mat. I care about healthy eating, but I don't give up on pleasures. I read science fiction and marketing books with interest, while rolling essential oils on my temples to help focus.
I try to maintain a similar balance when working with clients. I believe that I have a wide range of knowledge and experience to offer, but besides that I rely on my intuition, empathy and common sense.
2011-2014
University of Tartu, bachelor's degree in physiotherapy
Teaching new skills has always seemed natural to me, and my favorite part of physical therapy is breaking down an activity into mental parts and finding the missing part . Working with children requires just this kind of detective work, in addition to creativity in coaxing a small person to cooperate.

Women's Health Physiotherapy
During pregnancy and after childbirth, a lot of changes take place in a woman's body, and the body may no longer be the same. However, it is possible to radically change the quality of life with a comprehensive assessment, counseling and consistent action. I also started to educate myself in the field of pelvic floor physiotherapy.
2021-2022
School of Native Wisdom and Folk Medicine, study program for family and birth support
As a paediatric physiotherapist, I spend a lot of time with new parents. In the course of work, the weak spots of my knowledge have become apparent and the concerns and needs of parents have clearly emerged. In order to provide more comprehensive support, I decided to complete my training as a doula, with a focus on postpartum support.
until September 2023
FysioDoula and Tallinn Creative Incubator
I gave up paid work and started offering physiotherapy services for women and children both for a fee and to family medicine centers as an entrepreneur. I created a FysioDoula Instagram page and blog to share my knowledge more widely. I joined the Creative Incubator Incubation to bring FysioDoula to those who need her.
